When can I begin studying in the program?

Ed.D., MA & Graduate Diploma in TESOL courses begin every 10 weeks. TESOL Certificate & Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) certificate courses begin the first Monday of every month.

How long will it take to complete a course?

Each Ed.D., MA and Graduate Diploma in TESOL course is nine weeks in duration. The TESOL Certificate and Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners programs are 15 weeks in duration.

How long will it take to complete the Ed.D., MA or Graduate Diploma in TESOL program?

For the Ed.D. in TESOL, students students completing one course per term can complete the required courses and dissertation in approximately 3.5 to 4 years. For the MA in TESOL, students completing one course per term can complete the ten required courses and research portfolio in just over two years. Graduate Diploma in TESOL students can complete the program in approximately one year.

What is the maximum time allotted to complete the MA in TESOL degree program?

Students must complete their entire degree program within 3 years from date of matriculation. Students requiring additional time would need to be approved by the Dean and may incur additional fees. A student is considered to have completed the MA in TESOL degree program when the student has completed all courses with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and attended two x four-day residential sessions.

What is the maximum time allotted to complete the Ed.D. in TESOL degree program?

Students must complete their entire degree program within 5 years from date of matriculation. Students requiring additional time would need to be approved by the Dean and may incur additional fees. A student is considered to have completed the Ed.D. in TESOL degree program when the student has completed all courses with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and attended two x four-day residential sessions. Under no circumstances may the Ed.D. in TESOL program be completed in less than two years from the date of initial enrollment or more than ten years from the date of initial enrollment
