Description of Institution:
Anaheim University is a pioneering online institution of higher learning founded in 1996 with its administrative offices located in Anaheim, California. Anaheim University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council. The University, through its state-of-the-art online face-to-face learning environment, provides opportunities for students around the globe to interact with the most renowned experts in their fields allowing them to both further their knowledge and advance their professional skills in a user-friendly and interactive environment. Anaheim University offers online programs in English teacher education, business administration and sustainable management.

The Anaheim University global student and alumni community consist of working professionals who reside in 35 countries around the world. The majority of students are between the ages of 30 and 50 and reside in Asia, North America, and South America.

The majority of Anaheim University's Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) students are working full-time, e.g., teaching in schools and institutions, offering private tutoring, or running their own language schools. A number of Anaheim University students are already residing overseas or plan to travel or move during their program of study.

** Please note: No MA TESOL students expected to complete their program in 2011 completed during the published program length, but all were still working towards completion of their program. 33% of 2010 graduates completed their program within the published program length. It should be noted that in 2011, Anaheim University introduced the Research Portfolio course in place of the thesis, which has significantly increased the number of students completing the program within the published program length. This will be reflected in our 2012 results.
