The ground-breaking masterpieces of Akira Kurosawa (March 23, 1910 - Sept 6, 1998) have inspired screenplay writers and film directors the world over, and if it were not for his influence, classic movies such as The Magnificent Seven, Star Wars, A Fistful of Dollars, and many others may not have come about.
