NissanCarlosGhosnSeminarDSC 1307The objective of the MBA program is to educate and prepare a diverse group of men and women with the knowledge, analytical ability, and management perspectives and skills needed to provide leadership to organizations competing in a world increasingly characterized by diversity in the workforce, rapid technological change, and a fiercely competitive global marketplace. The Anaheim University MBA is designed to prepare students for careers in management and leadership in both the private and public sectors. Students acquire a comprehensive foundation in the fundamentals of business, the global environment in which they will function, and the analytical tools for intelligent decision-making.

At the end of the program, students will demonstrate:

  • Skills of leadership, teamwork and supervision
  • Effective oral and written communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills
  • An ability to think critically and creatively within a global business context
  • A heightened sense of ethical considerations in decision-making within the business world
  • An understanding of the body of knowledge in the functional areas of business
  • An in-depth understanding of the functional fields of business and their interrelationships in complex organizations
  • An understanding of and ability to use technology as a tool of effective management
  • Mastery of the analytical tools for decision making in a business world of complex business issues and problems
  • An ability to use applied quantitative and behavioral tools of business analysis and decision making

The objectives are accomplished by a curriculum that includes instruction in the following core areas:

  • financial reporting, analysis and markets,
  • domestic and global economic environments of organizations,
  • creation and distribution of goods and services, and
  • human behavior in organizations
