Anaheim University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). The DEAC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting agency and recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or CHEA (www.chea.org). Anaheim University is currently operating under a Show Cause Directive, effective July 28, 2023 (Directive). The Directive requires the institution to provide the DEAC with requested information and/or make certain changes, including to its advertising and accounting practices as well as ensuring that all researchers’ CITI certification is updated. The university must show cause why its accreditation should not be withdrawn. Anaheim University is cooperating with the DEAC to make all requested modifications.
